Hi Steve. Never tried this before! It took me about an hour to figure out how to post a comment. I’ve loved reading your stuff. Bobby Kennedy’s announcement re MLK – I never heard it. It brought back the chaos of those years of assassinations. Barbara Jordan is a hero here in Austin and it’s always good to read her keynote address – and remember her contribution to the Watergate hearings (“My belief in the constitution is absolute…”). Probably won’t comment from here on out, but wanted you to know I’m looking. Cheers.

Thanks for inviting me to your blog, Steve. I am sure that it will be a positive and learning experience for all of us – but I must warn you, blogging can be addictive. It can be a demanding mouth to feed. I once had seven active blogs, that I posted on every day for almost a year! At best it was like a brood of individual children to raise, at worst it was a nest of baby birds with open maws, demanding their daily sustenance! To keep my sanity I finally allowed them to starve, and now get my daily fix by reading and commenting on other people’s blogs. I hope to shoot up regularly with Medium and Mayhem.

Congrats for the blog! I am a blogger myself, a recent one, after getting rid of certain fears, I discovered I enjoy the blogging world a great deal, so I won’t be a stranger on this one. I must say, it’s an excellent idea to keep up with students and everyone’s ideas on a certain topic.

Bravo professor! We as humans are all hypocrites in the actions we have to face. Though we try to resist, society lures us into its realm, probably to the demise of civilization. We often wonder how this world would be operated of the invention of the vacuum tube computer never existed. Probably my guess is, for the better. We are so addicted to speed now as if we are on a high of some sort, yet we loathe to think of just taking a time to breathe. The medium for which we gather our information evolves rapidly, according to the state of Kansas, not true but to theorists, its inevitable. All we have to do is to embrace it, after all, change makes progress, and progress has the power to affect all of humankind! Peace out prof!
