I stumbled on your sight researching Indiana’s KKK roots. I live in Indiana and years ago, I saw a t.v. show about a secret society in Indiana (more extreme than the KKK.) So far I have not been able to uncover that name or group. Reason why I’m interested? I’ve always been haunted by Billie Holiday’s song ‘Strange Fruit.’ I’m a 48 year old white lady who to this day does not understand the traditions of the past. The song has always been so eerie and unsettling for me, just trying to understand the past. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
